Understand the home page

The Rabbiit home page is designed to give a clear, comprehensive view of your activities, projects, and time entries. Let’s go through each numbered section in the image below so you can get the most out of the available features.

1. Time entries

Quickly access all time entries you and your team have logged.

  • See all time entries in one place.
  • Edit existing entries as needed.
  • Add new time entries easily.

2. Activity list

View and manage activities from all projects in one place — without opening project by project. The detail of that list (where it sits in the menu and what each cut shows) is in Activity list across all projects.

  • Keep control over the progress of daily activities.
  • Make sure all tasks are completed within the established deadlines.
  • Activity segments:
    • Assigned to me: Activities assigned to your user.
    • Upcoming: Activities for the next 7 days.
    • Overdue: Delivery date is late.
    • All: All activities from projects you are a member of.
    • Admin view: Activities from all projects, available only at administrator level.
    • Trash: Activities deleted in the last 30 days can be recovered.

3. My projects

Quickly access your projects from the left side of the home page.

  • Project segments:
    • My projects: Projects you are participating in as a member.
    • Other projects: Projects you do not participate in, but your profile allows you to view.
    • Templates: Template projects that can be used to create new projects.
  • Add new project (+): Create a new project easily.
  • Settings (☰): Option to group projects by clients.

4. Hours calendar

Displays a weekly view of logged hours.

  • Quickly see how much time was dedicated to different activities on each day of the week.
  • Displays only your user’s hours.

5. Header of the selected project

Important information about the project selected in the left sidebar.

  • Client (can be an external client or your own company).
  • Status (billable or not).
  • Total hours worked.
  • Project progress percentage.

6. Project navigation tabs

Access different aspects of the project for a detailed view.

  • Time entries: View and manage hours worked on the project.
  • Tasks: Manage the tasks associated with the project.
  • Members: See who is involved in the project.
  • Activities: View activities in list format.
  • Kanban: View activities in board format and organize the project workflow.

7. New time entry

Add a new time entry.

  • In What are you doing?, describe what was done. Line breaks can be used.
  • Enter the time spent and the period. The system has autocomplete to help keep total time, start time, and end time consistent.
  • Select the corresponding task available on the project.
  • With the activity button, select the corresponding activity if needed.
  • Change the execution date if needed.

8. Time tracking

Shows in-progress and completed time entries.

  • Filter your entries and your team’s by segments.
  • Pause and resume time entries with the timer.
  • Edit entries as needed.
  • Keep accurate tracking of hours worked in real time.

9. Top-left menu

Quick access to other areas.

  • Home: Return to the home page.
  • Projects: All projects list with budget and progress.
  • Users: User management and team capacity monitoring.
  • Reports: Access to the various reports.
  • Manage: Options for managing users, clients, tasks, and projects.

10. Top-right menu

Access your user profile and adjust account settings.

  • Help icon: Help links and contact with our team for support and sales.
  • Profile menu: Account settings and your user profile.

The profile menu in Rabbiit gives access to several settings and essential resources for personalizing and administering your account. When you click your email address in the top-right corner of the home page, you open a detailed menu with several options:

  • Currency visibility: Choose whether monetary amounts are visible or hidden on your screen. This option is especially useful if your profile has permission to see cost and hourly billing information. You can work in Rabbiit, in places where colleagues can see your screen, without revealing sensitive information related to monetary values.
  • Account:
    • Profile and preferences: Access and edit your personal information and password.
    • General settings: Adjust the account settings.
    • Account and Subscription: View and manage the plan, licenses, and invoices. This is where you open the payment portal.
    • Custom fields: Add and manage custom fields for projects, tasks, clients, users, and time entries.
    • Timesheet lock: Configure the rule that blocks creating or editing hours outside the agreed window.
    • Timesheet automation: Rules that log hours automatically, when the account has the feature.
  • Links:
    • Refer and earn: Referral program.
    • Help center: Tutorials and FAQs.
    • What's new: Latest Rabbiit updates.
    • Blog: Articles on the official blog.
    • Status page: Rabbiit’s operational status.
    • Security policy: Rabbiit’s security policy.
    • API Documentation: Public API reference.
  • Session:
    • Log into another account: Access another account without ending the current session.
    • Logout: End your session in Rabbiit.
