How to create and edit other people's time entries
In Rabbiit, creating and editing time entries for other users are important features for project managers, administrators, and other users with the right permissions. This guide shows how you can configure these permissions and manage other people's time entries.
Create a time entry for another user
- Open the time entry form.
- Click the person icon and select the person you will log hours for.
- Check that the person has access to the project you are trying to log hours on.
- Continue filling in the remaining information and click Save.

Required permissions
Before creating or editing time entries for other users, you need to configure the appropriate permissions. Permissions can be adjusted by the Rabbiit account administrator.
- Administrator: Has full permission to create and edit time entries for all users.
- Super user: May have permission to edit other users' time entries, as configured by the administrator.
- Project manager: Can edit other users' time entries within the specific project, if the permission has been assigned.
Important considerations
- Permissions: Make sure you have the required permissions to create or edit time entries for other users. Otherwise, the options will not be available.
